Potato Cooker just why? By Charles Doane Like most people who have used a microwave, I’ve experienced food products exploding. Sometimes potatoes do this even with the recommended slitting of the spud and Progressive puts the lid on this problem quite literally with their potato cooker.

Potatos and more By Lynne Michaels I had one of these when I was married and lost it with the rest of my stuff. As soon as I got my microwave, I ordered this cooker. Have never found them in the store. I cook nearly every veggie in it. Corn on the cobb, squash, frozen vegs and more. This is the most used tool in my kitchen. When you wash the veggie leave the water on and it will cook perfectly. You will have to experiment a little to get the timing down… usually its 1 or 2 minutes for fresh stuff. Get it, you’ll love it.

Great Microwave cookware… By sinophile I have purchased several microwave cooking products by Progressive recently. Like the others, the potato cooker works well, though I have only used it to cook sweet potatoes. Following the directions and perforating the potatoes, and cooking on high in two minute intervals until they are soft is all that is required… and it should be much more healthy as there are no additives and no lost vitamins or minerals due to steaming…
