When cooking the beans for bean soup, the pot should be covered or not?
Ok here is the rule my mother taught me .. if you are cooking beans down .. is not necessarily a soup, then leave the lid as you want to get tender and do not have the same liquid. If a soup, then put the lid to keep the liquid. I'm from Louisiana, where one of our fav dishes is red beans and rice .. provided with a lid and cook when you do not want too much liquid.
Bean bags have many uses. As a child we all remember having a beanbag that we played with. It was an all time past time. I remember getting a bean bag and sitting playing with it, tossing it up in the air when no one else could play or hitting it with my knee seeing how high I could get it.
The uses for bean bags are endless. I remember tossing them back and forth in class playing hot potato, handing them off until the music stops and the one left holding the bean bag is out. I remember playing Hopscotch with all of my friends, we would draw a Hopscotch board on the ground with chalk then toss the bean bag and that is where we would have to hop to.
The many uses of bean bags are endless, I remember looking at one and thinking to myself what is in a bean bag, how can it form to so many things and how can it take so much abuse? Bean bags are usually fabric filled with tiny beans or beads.
Bean bags can be made into chairs or as the correct name, beanbag chairs. They are generally circular in shape which has an insert that is usually a pouch filled with beans, beads or small pieces of foam. Then the pouch is placed inside another circular slip which normally either Velcro’s or zips the pouch in. The outer slip or shell can be found in many different styles, prints, fabrics and designs.
The bean bag has so many uses that they are almost endless. My kids have a game which is a plastic board that contains different squares on the inside with x’s and o’s on them, you toss the bean bag on the square that you would like to hit and try to win by getting 3 x’s or 3 o’s in row or in other terms tic tac toe.
The parachute is another game that kids like to play. Taking a parachute and all the kids getting around on the outside, placing bean bags on the inside and everyone waving their arms up and down or going around in a circle trying to get all the bean bags out the center hole. I know in daycare and at the YMCA the kids from 2’s up to middle school age loved this game. It was endless hours of fun.
The uses are limitless and the bean bag can be talked about for days. There are tons of fabric ones, cotton ones, designer ones the list goes on. The very first bean bags and games were called corn holes. They used to take a piece of fabric in a square fill it with corn and then sew it or tack it up so the corn wouldn’t come out. Then they would toss it around and play games with them.
The bean bag or corn holes whichever you like to call it were very popular and are still very popular today. You can take a bean bag and toss it around with friends or by yourself for hours and still never be bored.

What is the advantage of comparing WTH cast aluminum cookware Stainless Steel Cookware?

Most aluminum cookware cast has a nonstick coating. Aluminum is there for fast, even driving heat. If the cooking surface is made of aluminum, it SEAR (and bar) as stainless steel. And, no, aluminum does not dissolve in your food in a healthy way. It is perfectly sure. All cookware, except copper and aluminum is Cast Iron. Stainless steel is very poor conductor of heat, so aluminum is added in the center of stainless steel. (Otherwise, water could take an hour to boil!) It appears they are deciding on a new series. If you want nonstick, hard anodized non-stick is certainly the way forward. If you want gourmet cook, buy steel. Whichever way you go, it is heavier. The heavier the PAN, aluminum is more there, and the best and the faster the heat.

Revere Ware Copper
Is it bad to drink from a copper kettle that has turned green inside?
I bought a cheap tea, made in China, and is always recommended dump the water at the end of their use. Of course, not my habit to always do that. I do not remember us by Revere Ware, for example. Now I see why they say that – Has "oxidized", or developed a greenish-blue coating on the inside of the copper boiler in the background. Do you think this is you can still drink, or should I get a new boiler? Responses to date are appreciated, thanks!
Mine is all green as well. I never considered him a danger. I'll see your question, but not I imagine it would be dangerous. Like you said, is only oxidized copper.
