What is the German food?
When I was in Germany for Christmas a few years ago, the dinner had been involved with a mini kitchen in the center of the table. Each person had a little bit PAN, which are loaded with meat, cheese and other things. This is then slid into the oven and then removed when he was ready to eat. This is repeated until each person who was full or the food ran out. Does anyone know what this called? My friend said he had the same thing when I was in Germany, but none of us knows what it is! Yup, that's the one! Thanks for that!
All I can think would raclette # # It's kind of a small device where everyone has their own utensils, food, basically take your tray of meat, heat the cheese on a plate, let the cheese melts and add the meat. The aroma of this ham baking in the oven wafted throughout the house. It was simply one of the most delicious things I’ve ever smelled. Our mouths watered as we waited impatiently for it to finish baking. It smelled of the holidays, of the allspice and cinnamon and cloves. This is a gorgeous glaze for your Christmas ham. I used the glaze on a baked smoked ham but you can also use it on a spiral cut ham and toss that sugary packet that comes with it. The crust is lovely and dark and the ham was so moist and full of flavor. I hope you enjoy.
Golden Spiced Glazed Ham
Ingredients:
4 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp. allspice
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 cup fresh pineapple, diced (canned is okay but has a few more carbs)
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. molasses
4 Tbsp. sugar free orange marmalade (Smucker’s brand is fine)
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/2 cup Splenda
10 lb. baked smoked or spiral cut ham (fully cooked)
Preheat oven to 325′ (or manufacturer recommendation)
Pulse all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor until smooth. This makes enough glaze for a ten pound ham. Line a large roasting pan with aluminum foil. Liberally coat the ham with the glaze on all sides. Bake for about 2 hours until the glaze is golden brown and the internal temperature of the ham has reached 140′. Check for manufacturers cooking recommendations for cooking time.
Because the nutrition information can vary widely for different types of hams the nutrition facts provided below are for the glaze only and based on 18 servings from a 10 pound ham. Please check the label of your ham before you purchase it for sodium and sugar content.

It is washable nylon Tycora?
I HAVE a crop very, TYCORA SHIRT 100% NYLON. READ THE LABEL "FOR REVERE SPORTSWEAR, 100% NYLON TYCORA. Than THE TOUCH is very soft. It feels almost like cashmere. I wonder if this type of fabric is washable, or should I BETTER SEND IT to the cleaners? I DONT WANT TO MESS this piece:)

Stick Frying
best non-stick pan?
I have just thrown my pan, because all that was stuck to it – it was so annoying! Anyway I would like pan never sticks – if it exists. I'm only 20 so I havent been for a long time to cook havent have no idea what I have to be looking for. Help would be much appreciated;)
Circulon. I had my game six years – use absolutely every day and still like new. So durable non-stick and can easily Dry fry a tortilla and use metal tools. Cleaned in an instant – even when you forget you're cooking something and boil dry .. any department store well.
Does this sound familiar? That is what some of us saying for years, after every winter you gain at least 2 kilo’s, needless to say you never manage to lose that weight. Why? Because you bluff yourself, you think you are on a diet but in the meantime you put more food in your mouth.
Think about it – You are busy cooking, what are you doing, taste the food every now and then to make sure the taste is perfect, You go to the Gym, after Gym you bumped into my friend. Hi do you have time for a cuppa. The chocolate cake looks divine, you will have a slice just today. This happens at least three times a week. Friends came over for supper, she brought you a beautiful box of home made chocolates (why not flowers I don’t now) well needless to say that box of chocolates talked to you until it was finish. You are at a kitchen tea, staring at all the lovely pastries and cakes, you thought I shouldn’t but just this ones, and so the pattern of bad eating and no self control goes on and on. Every Monday you start with good intentions, that does not last even two days. It is really tough.
What are you doing to yourself: Fist you putting on more and more weight and secondly you are harming your health. To lose weight you must be motivated, your mindset must be right. I find the best way to get me in the mood is to go shopping for clothes. You just give yourself on look in those mirrors and your mind is set. For some reasons the mirrors in the change rooms shows everything in detail, maybe it is the light. You look disgusting to yourself, enough to do the trick.

It is better to use a cutting board more to protect your knives rather than the granite counter top itself. Being a natural rock, granite is porous and if not cared for properly will stain. Immediate cleaning of spills and sealing will avert such problems. The blue pearl granite will come to your home pre-sealed by the manufacturer. Thereafter am annual sealing is good enough and a little extra care around the cooking range and sink is all that you need to do to keep is shining naturally.
To make sure that the blue pearl granite you have received is not doctored run it with some cotton dipped in nail polish remover; if the color of the cotton changes, it means that the granite has been dyed, refuse to accept it. Or you can check this out when you choose the granite counter top for your granite kitchen and make it very clear to the seller then itself.
