These are NOT Le Parfait rings – they are China made but do fit Le Parfait jars though

As a major seller in the past of Le Parfait jars – and a current seller of Le Parfait gaskets – I have to note to the unsuspecting public that these are china made copies – not Le Parfait original canning replacment gaskets. Le Parfait are ORANGE gaskets made in France.. Bormioli/VE/Arc are White made in Italy – those distributed by Harold Imports are copies made in China.. there is a MAJOR difference in composition and quality.

Please note – I am not knocking the availability or intended usage of this product – just that the description is NOT correct! They will FIT Le Parfait jars.. they ARE NOT Le Parfait or original French replacment gaskets.

Natural rubber, not synthetic

Another reviewer was knocking these gaskets for not being made by Le Parfait. Well, I found out from Le Parfait that their gaskets are synthetic rubber (nitrile rubber), so if you’re trying to stay away from petrochemicals then the gaskets made by Le Parfait aren’t for you. The importer of the gaskets being sold here said that these are natural (gum) rubber. Although they may not last as long because of that, these are a better choice than the Le Parfait gaskets in my opinion. These gaskets fit all Le Parfait jars that call for the 85mm gaskets, and also all Bormioli Rocco Fido jars.

perfect for replacements on old orange one’s cracked or torn measure the whole gasket outside to outside 3/ 3/4 inch works great
