Made in Italy is not always equivalent to good quality By Mark Twain While we were shopping for a durable sauce pan, we were attracted by this one because it claims that it is made in Italy. After we’ve used it for half a year, we know that we made a wrong assumption. Made in Italy is not necessary equivalent to good quality.
We used this sauce pan everyday to cook pasta, soup or vegetable(cooking with low to medium heat). Here is what we think the good and the bad of this product:
Pros: - It is very light comparing to other sauce pan with similar size. Ladies will like it. - We like the drain hole feature on the side of the cover. It really helps to drain out the water especially when cooking pasta - We like the long handle bar so that we can use it with only one hand. - Non-stick - Very easy to clean
Cons: - The non-stick layer (both inside and outside) is like sticky note. It gets peeling off very easily after using it for about 3 months. - There is no additional layer at the bottom to help distributing the heat evenly.

not durable By wary shopper Nice looking pot, but not a high quality product. Very lightweight metal, so it neither conducts heat evenly nor holds temperature well. The non-stick surface is inconsistent and shows wear after very little use even though we were very careful with it – used plastic utensils, hand washed with only soap and sponge (no abrasives). Both the pot and top have hard plastic handles that loosened after 1 month’s use. I was able to tighten the handle for the top, but the screw for the pot handle is in all the way, it can’t be tightened.
I will not order from this manufacturer again without seeing the product first to ascertain that what I’m buying is constructed well enough to meet my needs

Lightweight Pot By A. Dizzy In need of the perfect 3 quart sauce pot, I looked up Cook’s Illustrated online and searched for reviews. This pot was well rated so I was pleased to find it so affordable. They were right. It IS LIGHTWEIGHT. SUPER lightweight, in fact. It reacts quickly to the flame and doesn’t perform as well as a heavy bottomed pan but it’s not too bad. The lid with the holes makes it perfect for pasta, but it doesn’t seal good enough for it to be the best choice for cooking rice. Cleans like a dream and the handle is nice. I’m glad I bought it, but I did not discard my older All-Clad pot when it came in. They are different animals! I made my chocolate pie filling in it the other day and it did just fine. Just know that it is EXTREMELY lightweight!
