| This 7-inch glass lid is portion of the Berndes Tradition cookware line. Berndes Tradition cookware is fictitious using vacuum-pressure casting. High-grade aluminum alloys are melted and forced into a mold, ensuring the absence of air bubbles and resulting in a thick base, thin sides, no interior rivets, lightweight construction, and a utterly flat bottom that never warps. The nonstick surface allows the user to cook by adding little or no fat. Berndes does nonstick right–in 1975, DuPont and Berndes were the firstborn companies to launch nonstick cookware in Europe. Users are not commended to use metal utensils with Tradition cookware.
The cookware’s rustic wooden handles are cool to the touch on the stovetop. In addition, the cookware may be employed in the oven when wrapped with foil. Tradition cookware will have to not be washed in the dishwasher, as the handles may arid out from the heat.

 A better lid

What can one say about a lid? I hesitated to order the lid because it cost more than I thought it should, but I needed a lid that size. Now that I have it, I’m glad I ordered it–the quality far exceeds my expectations.

yeah for see-thru lids

Thank goodness someone still makes standard see-thru lids! Much preferred to the standard lids.
