Fabulous

As always, Robert Sabuda has created elegance personified with his intricate all white dimensional designs which are mounted against soft colors with designs illustrating the location of each scene. The text by Michael J. Rosen flows through the book as it describes the many places of Jewish settlement. And the flames of a Menorah can be seen in each scene, increasing by one light with each succeeding page-turn.

Visually Stunning book

This book is sure to become a treasured family heirloom. It is visually stunning and the pages come to life with the three dimensional pop up rendition of the beautiful poem. The pop up art is extremely delicate – a tiny monkey on one side came with its tail bent.

Do Not Miss This Book.

Adults as well as school-age children will find this book amazing. Not the typical pop-up for young children.
I bought this for my granchildren and I was amazed at the fabulous complexity of the pop-ups. Robert Sabuda has outdone himself on this one.
This is not the typical book on Hanukah. The text tells a beautiful story of all the places in the world that the Jews have observed the candle lighting ceremony.The pop-ups illustrate the journeys.
When I shared it with my adult friends their eyes filled up.That’s how beautiful it is.
