Iron Chef is a most innovative cooking competition that was produced by Fuji TV in Japan. The Chairman of this cooking competition Takeshi Kaga hosted the show in a most flamboyant style. Iron chef was a cooking game show where the best professional cooks battled with each other. The competitor chef would battle against the resident Iron chef. They would have to prepare minimum 5 dishes in an hour from the secret ingredient which would be disclosed to them just before the start of the competition.
Well you can imagine the kind of battle that would be fought cooking the winning dish. The cooking battle would take place in the Kitchen stadium and the Chairman would announce the start of the competition using the words Allez cuisine which in French means “Go Kitchen”. This Iron chef series that ran 300 episodes which finally concluded in the year September 24, 1999, saw some of the best of best Iron chef competitors.
