I just burn the tips of my fingers when I took a Pan Lid What can I put on them to stop blisters?
I have run in the cold key, and still stings like hell.
Just keep your fingers under running cold water for at least 10 minutes, do not put creams on burns or bandages! This Sting and may blister yet! Good Luck
The process of going through your used cans and removing all of the lids on each one of them can be a long and tedious tasks that can force you to waste a lot of your precious time that could be spent doing other things in the kitchen or house. Now you can make that process quicker and easier by using an electric can opener which runs off of it’s own power source instead of relying on you to do all of the work. This can opener has a number of benefits that have made it far superior than the traditional style openers.
The most important benefit that the new style of can opener provides to you is the speed at which it is able to remove the lids from cans of all sizes. The opener locks onto the can and zips through the metal with ease and can move at a rate which far exceeds the rate at which you would be able to crank a manual opener around the can. So all of the time that you would spend cranking and turning on the opener to remove the lids on cans is drastically reduced.
Another benefit of the electric can opener is that it puts less stress and strain on your hands, wrists, and arms. Turning the old style openers can sometimes be hard on you physically and may cause you to strain yourself if you’ve got many heavy cans to go through. The newer style openers are capable of doing just about all of the work, including turning the can, so the level of physical effort that is required on your part is reduced to a minimum. This helps prevent strain or injury due to overworking yourself while partaking in this activity.
There is also an increased level of safety that is now provided by the newer style can openers. Safety guards have been installed on the newer style electric can openers which prevents you from being cut by the can lids that are removed when the cutting process is taking place. Also, as the lids are being cut off, the newer style can openers are built to dull the remaining edge. So the sharp edge that used to be created by the old style can openers will no longer exist. The chance of being cut by sharp edges has been greatly reduced.
If you are still using that old clunky can opener, you may want to consider purchasing a new can opener. They are much safer, faster, and easier to use and in the long run will help make your can opening process much more pleasant.
